In a time of monumental shifts, be it the climate emergency, evolving needs of empowered citizens, geo-political uncertainty, or the exponential rate of technological change, the UK public sector is scaling up a collaborative approach to problem-solving: multi-stakeholder partnerships (MSPs).

Powered by collaborative transformation, MSPs bring together a range of partners to solve priority problems and achieve shared goals. However, transforming performance through MSPs is tough.

This research brings fresh insight into the lived experience of those senior leaders, exploring their motivations, feelings, and lessons to identify what makes the difference across a wide range of public sector partnerships.
